Innovation & Entrepreneurship

Mentorship, incubation and access to funding for early-stage founders and small businesses in the Western Region.

Ideas rarely fail for lack of ambition. They fail for lack of the things that surround an idea: someone who has done it before, a room to work in, and a route to the first cedi of funding.

Ahanta Tech Lab exists to supply those surroundings locally, so that a founder starting out here does not have to relocate to Accra to be taken seriously.

Opportunity in technology moves through people. A hub earns its value less from its equipment than from who a member ends up in a room with.

We convene the founders, employers, investors and professionals working across the Western Region, and give that network somewhere to meet.

The Western Region’s economy runs on land, energy and resources. The most useful technology work here is the kind that engages with that directly.
