Innovation & Entrepreneurship
Mentorship, incubation and access to funding for early-stage founders and small businesses in the Western Region.
Ahanta Tech Lab is a technology and innovation hub in Agona Nkwanta. We are bringing an underused public library and ICT lab back into service as a place to learn digital skills, start a business and build a professional network.
What we do
Training that matches what employers hire for, support for the ventures that come out of it, and a network that keeps both moving.
Mentorship, incubation and access to funding for early-stage founders and small businesses in the Western Region.
Hands-on training in software development, cybersecurity, data analytics, cloud computing and digital marketing.
Structured opportunities for innovators, investors and industry professionals to meet and work together.
Applied innovation in agritech, renewable energy and AI-driven solutions relevant to the region.
Our goals
Ahanta Tech Lab is at the start of its work. These are the targets the Lab is building capacity to reach.
These are the targets Ahanta Tech Lab is working toward. They are not results achieved to date.
Why here
Agona Nkwanta already has a library and ICT lab. It was built to serve schools without their own computer access, and for years it did. Then the funding, the training and the equipment stopped keeping pace, and the building went quiet.
Reviving a facility that already exists is faster and cheaper than starting again, and it puts the Lab where people already know to look. With targeted investment, that space becomes a working centre for digital skills training, business incubation and professional networking.
