About
A hub for digital skills and enterprise
Ahanta Tech Lab brings training, mentorship and a working network together in one place, so that a career or a company in technology can be built in the Western Region.
What we do
Ahanta Tech Lab is a technology and innovation hub in Agona Nkwanta, in Ghana's Western Region.
The work runs in four strands. Digital skills training in the areas employers are hiring for: software development, cybersecurity, data analytics, cloud computing and digital marketing. Mentorship and incubation for early-stage founders and small businesses, including guidance on reaching funding. Structured networking that puts founders, employers, investors and professionals in the same room. And applied research and development in agritech, renewable energy and AI.
National momentum is behind this kind of work, through programmes such as the National Apprenticeship Programme and the One Million Coders Programme. The Lab is where that reaches people in this part of the region.
Our goals
What we're working toward
Stated plainly, so progress can be measured against them.
These are the targets Ahanta Tech Lab is working toward. They are not results achieved to date.
Governance
Governance and legal status
Details of the implementing organisation, its registration, and the governing board will be published here. We would rather leave this section empty until it can be stated accurately than publish something approximate.
For questions about the Lab's structure or partnerships in the meantime, please get in touch directly.
